Who can enter?
Our event is for recreational and competitive dancers – solo, duet or groups. The adjudicators offer positive and constructive feedback for each dancer based on their age and level of training.
Meet the Adjudicators
An award winning dancer, instructor and choreographer. He began teaching 15 years ago and has had outstanding results as both dancer and instructor. Vince has performed openings for many talented artists, including Ashanti, Shawn Desmond, Ludacris, Chris Brown, Boyz to Men, 112, Chingy, Genuine. Vince was featured on “So You Think You Can Dance” seasons 1, 2 and 4.
His routines include House, Street, New School Choreography, Diva, Krumping and Break Dancing.
She started dancing at the age of 4 in Troy, MI. It was love at first pirouette! She trained all through her childhood and decided to make commercial dance her career.
She has travelled the world with Paul McCartney, toured with Britney Spears and worked with other artists such as Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake & Lenny Kravitz.
She’s worked on other movies such as the next two Austin Powers, She’s All That, Scream 2, Not Another Teen Movie, Orange County, Like Mike, Down With Love, Click, Year One, Spring Break Down and the animated movie Rango.
Cara Lee trained with The Source Dance Company for two years and then she began her professional career travelling the world as a performer with Carnival Cruise Lines. From there, she focused on keeping all doors open and seeking every opportunity in the entertainment industry, and seamlessly moved into the world of acting. She landed principal roles on Nickelodeon’s Rags, and CW’s Hellcats. She can also be seen on Descendants, 90210, The X-Files, Witches of East End, Sucker Punch, Percy Jackson, and many more films, TV series and music videos.
Cara Lee was one of two Canadians chosen from the very first Canada-wide auditions to perform at the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris, France. She was thrilled for the opportunity to be trained in the famous French Cancan and live in such a city of culture. She describes The Moulin Rouge as ‘an experience of a lifetime’.
Cara Lee has trained with the Radio City Rockettes in NYC and has also trained extensively at renowned studios in Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, London and Paris. She has worked with some of the best dancers and choreographers the Canadian dance world has to offer. Her dance styles include jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap and ballet. She shines when she gets to share her passion with others, whether it be teaching, adjudicating or choreographing across Canada.
Shawn Bracke is a versatile dancer, choreographer and visual artist, creating movement for stage, film and television. His work is story-based and aims to inspire audiences to think critically and feel deeply.
His aesthetic stems from his strong technical training and a professional career that immersed in the commercial and concert dance worlds. His extensive training in cross genre styles has been integral to his unique movement. Shawn draws from experience with improvisational acting techniques to create a heightened emotional state with his work.
Having spent time living in Vancouver, London UK, Milan and now in Toronto, Canada. Shawn has gained credits working with major brands. Furthermore, his films have been showcased internationally in renowned film festivals including the Oscar qualifying Raindance Film Festival and Hollyshorts
